Chief Abraham Kusemoran Medaiyese (1945–2017)
Father of Hon. Amb. Oluwatosin Medaiyese
Born on 1 April 1945 and from Ike-Bunu in Kabba/Bunu, Kogi State, Chief Abraham Kusemoran Medaiyese was a Chartered Secretary and Management Consultant. His recorded professional designations included ACIS, FCIS, MIMC and MNIM.
His life combined professional work, public and organisational involvement, political participation and traditional responsibility. He held the title of Balogun of Ike-Bunu.
His recorded career included roles with New Nigerian Newspapers, Kwara State Water Corporation, Kwara State Investment Corporation and Midland Supplies in Ilorin. He was later professionally associated with Medak Services, Ilorin.
He served as District Chairman of the Unity Party of Nigeria from 1981 to 1983 and Grand Patron of the National Republican Convention from 1990 to 1993. His recorded organisational involvement included the Board of Governors of Kiri High School, Kwara State Scholarships Board, Kwara State Town Planning Authority, Kogi State Investment Company Ltd. and Oyi Industrial Development Company Ltd.

A March 2013 report in The Nation documented Chief Abraham speaking about the road’s condition and its effect on motorists and neighbouring communities. The report is evidence of a public intervention on a community concern.
